Reliable bonding between reinforced bar and concrete is essential to reinforced concrete components to work. All through the studying of reinforced concrete structure, bond stress-slip relationships in reinforced concrete is one of the important factors. In the mechanics analysis of reinforced concrete, a great deal of research based on test has been done and a lot of achievements have been got. According to the achievements got through the previous analysis, damage mechanics has been used to analyzing the bond stress-slip of reinforced concrete in this paper. Through anlyzed with damage mechanics, the capability deteriorating of the interface bond was described, so that we can comprehend the capability of the interface bond in reinforced concrete.Firstly, applying the method of the damage mechanics, the capability deteriorating of the interface bond of reinforced concrete has been analyzed. Secondly, based on the concepts and models in the concrete damage mechanics, the damage variable which describing the capability deteriorating of the interface bond was defined. Thirdly, the damage model of the interface bond was proposed, then according to it the equation about the damage-slip and the equation about bond stress-slip which considering the damage were achieved. Fourthly, the progress and evolutionary mechanism of the damage of the bond interface were analyzed, and the evolutionary mechanism of the damage of the pull-out experimentation was analyzed. Then, the variety of the damage-slip curve with the change of reinforcement bar and the concrete was discussed. Finally, using the ANSYS soft, according to the correlative data, a pull-out model with FEM which considering the damage of the interface in reinforced concrete was proposed. The result computed through the soft accorded with the data got through experimentation preferably. At the same time, the reinforced concrete simply supported beam was computed through FEM and the result showed that the damage model of the interfacial bond capability in reinforced concrete can describe the bond stress-slip characteristic of the anchorage zone in the freely supported beam preferably.Because of the difficulty to get the descending branch of the bond stress-slip, in this paper, the method that use the damage model of the interface bond to draw the complete bond stress-slip curve was discussed, especially the descending branch of the curve. The results were available in theory analysis and engineering application.
