How to plan and schedule becomes a key issue to make manufacture process smoothly and efficiently. It is very important to research on effective scheduling and optimization to improve productivity and reduce cost. So more and more researchers pay attention to this research. On the basis of the technical review on the domestic and foreign research, this thesis has an extensive and systematic study on the job-shop scheduling combining the actual job-shop operation.Firstly, considering multi-objective of shop scheduling, the mathematical model of flexible job-shop scheduling (FJSS) for bi-objective is established. At the same time, a modeling example is given combining the project of Hefei Automobile Axle Co., Ltd.Secondly, to solve this model, a genetic algorithm is developed.Thirdly, the realization project of Multi-Objective Optimization (MO) of job-shop scheduling is presented and a simulation example is given. This paper analyses and designs the job-shop scheduling system using the object-oriented analysis method. Finally, explanations are given for parameters design and some improved approaches on Genetic Algorithm (GA) appeared in the paper. Three kinds of new advanced approaches are offered in order to distribute the weights of objective functions effectively. They are Average Adaptive Weight Approach and Average and Fluctuating Adaptive Evaluation Function Approach and Average Leading Weight Approach.
