The research on noise control of automobile engine is one of the important research directions of vibration and noise control realm. In this essay, taking the CY4112ZLQ automobile engine as the research object, combined with finite element and boundary element methods, the vibration and noise radiation of the oil pan of this kind diesel engine is calculated and predicted, and the method for reducing noise radiation of the oil pan is brought forward. The whole essay is divided into four parts. In the first part, the finite element model of the oil pan is created, and the mode analysis is carried out. In this essay, the oil pan is regarded as curved structure. The UG is used to construct the 3-dimensional model of the oil pan. Then the model is put into ANSYS, and the Shell63 is adopted to mess the model. The mode analysis of forward 15 steps is carried out, and the mode parameters are gotten. In the second part, the dynamic response of the oil pan is analyzed. The tested drive from the experiment is imported into the finite element model, and the vibration distribution situation of the surface of the oil pan is figured out. Then by comparison with the tested data from the experiment, the model of oil pan, the input and set parameters during the calculating process are testified. In the third part, the noise distribution is analyzed. The boundary element model of sound field is created. The result of response analysis of the previous step is transferred as boundary condition. By using SYSNOISE software via indirect boundary element method, the situation of the radiation noise field of the oil pan is predicted. In the fourth part, the structure and damp of the oil pan is modified and adjusted. The modified noise field is figured out. This is the basement of the noise radiation on oil pan.
