Motorcycle crank module is a special rigid rotor. It consists of crankshaft and rod. It belongs to unbalanced rotor. In order to cause the engine to work at the optimum condition, the different crank module has unique unbalanced design variables, so the manufactured crank module must conform to the requirement of dynamic balancing design. So it is very important to improve product quality that makes research on measuring method dynamic balancing of motorcycle crank module and the development of system. This paper takes the motorcycle crank module as the object, introduces the idea of virtual instrument, and develops measuring system dynamic balancing of motorcycle crank module based on virtual instrument by LabVIEW.The main content and achievements are as follows:First of all, analyzes the dynamics characteristic and the kinematics characteristic of the crank-slip mechanism, because it is the reductionism model of the motorcycle crank module. And then takes the inertial force ellipse which is described by unbalance rate (η) and obliquity of the ellipse principal axis (φ) as unbalance characteristics of motorcycle crank module, educes the formula of dynamic balancing of crank module.Next, according to the account theory of dynamic balancing of crank module and the parameter of soft-supporting measuring system, the frequency of vibration is must controlled strictly to get stable measuring speed. The paper designs the module of principal axis driving and control, analyzes the vibration signal's characteristics, and finishes system's design and the analysis of components.Again, the paper introduces the concept of VI to the measuring system, develops system software, finishes a full system including the architecture module, cranks administration module and measuring module, so it improves the flexibility and expansibility of the measuring system, and introduces the function of each module.At last in the paper, the measuring results are given. And takes a qualitative analysis about the mechanical system error source and the principle error, and points out the questions that the research exists, and then makes a vista of the future research.
