Research On The Typical Central Space Of Traditional Settlement In Nanxi River Region By Liming Huang

The central space of traditional Settlements in Nanxi River region is regarded as a shining pearl among the treasures of the traditional architectures of Nanxi River region. It is represented by exuberance outstanding structures, based on both the special natural environments of Nanxi River,and its social history and culture with various intensions. The central space,as an important pitch point in the structure shape of the traditional Traditional Settlements, especially manifested the village life vigor and the characteristic value,is an noticeable research spot in exporeing construction culture of Nanxi River region. On the other hand,as one type of the village public association spaces,the central space is given to special characteristic and the vigor by the village people. Through the on-the-spot investigation and study, this paper attempts to analysis influence, spatial characteristic, spatial constitution, spatial shape conducts of the central space from the traditional culture and the region environment.
