The research and development of the small-satellite is the key domain inthe important countries in aerospace of the world nowadays. Of which thedesign and analysis of the structure are base works. The researchingsmall-satellite of the Limited Company of Hangtian-Tsinghua Small-satelliteTechnology adopted a structure of three-layered frame. Main research work ofthis paper concentrates on the structure design and analysis of it. The contentincludes dummy design of the structure, motion simulation and interferencedetection of the organs, dynamic analysis and the improvement of thedynamics properties based on FEM, and the experimentation of modalanalysis of the true model, and so on.In the part of the motion simulation and interference detection of theorgans, the motion of the solar boards and the antenna have been simulated,besides, the interference detection of the antenna has been searched. Thetheory used and the antenna layer have been introduced in detail firstly ininterference detection, then, it founded the account model. Based on UGNX/Motion, it has detected the interference phenomenon between the movingantenna and the feedback antenna. By solving the shortcoming in design toavoid the interference phenomenon, a more reasonable structure has beengotten.In the part of the small-satellite's modal analysis based on FEM(FiniteElement Method), several aspects of research work have been done. First isthe foundation of numeric model of the small-satellite's structure system, inthis section, some key points in forming model have been discussed, andrelevant solving methods were supported. When material properties, elementtype, boundary condition and methods of meshing and mode pick-up havebeen decided, the modal analysis has been managed. Considering with theresult of the dynamic analysis based on FEM and the request of the properfrequency of the small-satellite, the paper has improved the structure of thesatellite to meet them.In the part of the experimentation of modal analysis, the paper discussedthe vibration experimentation of the small-satellite's structure system, themethod used is hammer inspiriting. First, the experimental system design andthe theory were introduced, then, X and Y directions were chosen to inspiritthe small-satellite's structure system, accordingly, different nodes were set up.Secondly, the modal analysis software DASP (Data Auto Sample and ProcessSystem) was used to solve the data acquired and the result of the modalproperties of the small-satellite's structure have been acquired. In the end,consulting with the result based on FEM, the experimentation has beenanalyzed.
