Particle size is the most important research direction in powder engineering , it had a notable impact on capability and application of powder. The accurate measure system is required to demarcate and measure the particle size of powder in powder industry in order to satisfy the need for coal full burning and combine of cement and flour. The application in the national economy and the people's livelihood of detection technique of particle based on Digital Image Process is wider. The speed and accuracy of improving the detection technique of particle seem more and more important.On online sampling system, the sampling system is tried to design .in this paper,because of particle devices are static or sampling test in laboratory. Its implement will drive change of sampling mode in power industry, and will lead the technology of the powder sampling.This paper produces the image target scattering technology based on particle image matching. We extracts feature image in first image and takes it as matching template to recognize and track particle in sequence images.The thesis theory and technology about application development and introduces system structure and approach of achievement. It can be congealed to make current image displaying on monitor an immobile image. To dynamic image coming from image acquisition equipment and static image coming from some kind of file we can process it by some typical image processing algorithm such as image transform and image enhancement and image segmentation and so on. Some algorithm including the making image gray and the making image two value and the configuration filter and all kind of measurement algorithm is realized in system. Those algorithm help us obtaining grains' parameter such as images geometry shape character about grains and grains distributing and grains uniformity etc. Some algorithm including optimizing threshold for the making image two value and volume product for imageenhancement and seed-fill algorithm for two value image processing and grains mensurement are key in system.On the two neighboring frame of images, we search the two small areas which have the largest correlation ,then divide their distance by their shooting interval, thus we got the average velocity of this small area in this interval. The main calculation in the particle image matching algorithm is to have the two visual seriate images taken the cross-correlation arithmetic based on the fast fourier transform. This paper discusses the basic principle of the cross-correlation arithmetic in detail, discuss each stage of its produce and development and also discuss the thinking, the merit and the defect of each algorithm. On the base of all these discussing, we confirm our algorithm.The emulator experiment according to multiple-cameras sub-pixel locating algorithm is achieved based on correlation by MATLAB. The location precision hyper 0.01 pixel is testified by the algorithm and the demand of the project is satisfied according to the experiment result. We discuss the use of the formula stocks, and probes into the particle size distribution of particles.
