It has been proved by seismologic observation that it is disadvantageous in anearthquake to complicated partial field, which is the asymmetry of landform andgeology. Especially, the disaster on the thick soft soil deposits is very serious . As aresult of fluvial scouring and aggrading the riverbed, the alluvial layer of circular-arclayered alluvial valleys is fluid-saturated porous medium. This article is about thedifference of the ground movement, inspired by plane P waves riping into layeredalluvial valleys with fluid-saturated porous medium and solid dry-frame.While using the Big-Circle-Method, that the surface of half-space isapproximated by the cylindrical surface with very large radius ,an analyticalsolution for the scattering of dry-frame and fluid-saturated porous medium withdrained boundary or undrained boundary subjected to the plane P waves was drivedby the Fourier-Bessel series expansion technique. Finally, the precision andastringency of the numerical result astringency was checked up and analyzed. The analysis result shows that there are more significant amplification aboutground motion on saturated soil deposits than on solid dry-frame deposits, due to porefluid. The amplification ratio is related to non-dimension frequency and porosity.
