Ground-water heat pump (GWHP) system for heating and cooling of buildings isbecoming more noticeable because of its energy saving and environmental protectioncharacteristics. The application of GWHP system greatly depends on its economy,which was studied in the thesis.The economy of GWHP system is a major factor in application research, so thereis combined with fire-directed lithium bromide absorption cold & hot water system inthe study. Taking two heat pump projects each has two plans as examples, build theenergy analysis model of two types of heat pump systems. Based on the BIN methodand the performance of heat pump system in variable working conditions, mathematicmodel of annual-cost is built on which consider the impact of interest rate andinflation, and the annual-cost (AC) is shown by present worth.The purpose is to study the contrast between GWHP system and fire-directedlithium bromide absorption cold & hot water system on annual-cost and life cycle cost(LCC). This thesis lays emphasis on following aspects:The capital cost of GWHP system is more than fire-directed absorption system,but the supplemental cost can be reclaimed in two or four years. So the total deepnessof well should be computed exactly, which can deduce the capital cost of GWHPsystem.The percent of the annul-operation cost in the AC is from 51% to 64%. Thepower consumption of water pumps shares more than 40% in annual powerconsumption, though the technique of frequency conversion is recommended in heatpump system.The LCC of GWHP system is less than the LCC of fire-directed lithium bromideabsorption cold & hot water system. For the LCC of per-cool load (or per heat load)of the GWHP system, project 2 is lower than project 1 about 0.7 to 1.1 yuan.Points out the matters need attention in theory and practice for the design,exploitation and engineering chooses of GWHP system.
