Steel-structure factory is widely used in morden industrial factory construction for its high degree of industrialization and fast construction speed.And common steel roof truss mill building is widely used in heavy-duty steel-structure factory for its great rigidity and entirety.According to the material and disposition,the roof of common steel roof truss mill building divides into steel purlin roof and roof without purlin.Research of sing-story steel-structure factory roof is very sufficient.However the roof of heavy-duty steel-structure factory is made up of precast concrete slab.There is less research of lingt roof in heavy-duty steel-structure factory.To be more lighter becomes the major direction of steel structure development. In the premise of ensuring the horizontal rigidity of the roof and other performances,using light roof accords with the major direction of steel structure development.The paper presents static and dynamic analysis of steel-structure factory with steel purlin roof and factory with roof without purlin.On static analysis,the static peformance of four steel-structure factories with diffrernt rigidity roof is analyzed by finite element program. In the premise of the same section of structure member, the static peformance of the structure is analyzed according to different length and width and the results are compared.On dynamic analysis, four steel-structure factories with diffrernt rigidity roofs is analyzed by using response spectrummethod. The dynamic peformance and the dynamic response of the factorys with four diffrernt rigidity is discussed according to various lengths and widths of the factorys.On the anslysis of factory with steel purlin roof and factory with roof without purlin,the practicability of steel purlin roof with strengthened longitudinal horizontal brace replaces roof without purlin is evaluated.
