| With the enduring popularity of green architecture and the development of energy saving technique, the improvement of the wall constitution is becoming more and more mature. During the last decade, a variety of new wall materials are popularized, such as low-density concrete masonry, architectural insulated core panels, reinforced wood wall framework, concrete hollow block, steel structure and all kinds of compound wallboards. The wall materials are the most important raw materials in the building industry. The quality, function and grade of building product depends on the quality of the materials.In the thesis, the research state of new types of wall material in the nation and the oversea, the technical approach of developing wall material and the class of new types of wall materials which can be classified by three major classes (including brick, block and wallboard) and totally more than 20 species are presented. From the viewpoint of the climate characteristic of Hunan province, several kinds of new wall node construction, the performance and applicable range of wall and its new construction technique are also introduced here. At last, for the problems as follows: the development tendency and key point of wall materials, the popularity and application of new types of wall material, how to deal with the present development condition of wall materials, the existing influence factors to the development of wall materials and their mutual relationships, some new viewpoints are putted forward in the thesis. All of these show that the popularity and application of new technique will accelerate the development of construction industry in our country.A new type of wall material, the KGC composite light-weighted partition wallboard which investigated under the leader of mine is also introduced in the appendix. It has been gotten the national patent. The molding arts, construction technique, install constitution and engineering application of this wallboard are demonstrated in detail.
