Integrated Product Development(IPD) is a product development method with which the client requirement can be better satisfied and the cooperation can be improved. It is a commercial strategy which make the enterprise be more competent on the market. Product Life Management(PLM) is a support tool for the implement of IPD. Currently, there are two main aspects in the research and application of IPD. One is the approach of process management; the other is the computer support technologies such as Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and so on. And with the rapid development of Product Data Management, the product lifecycle management based PLM approach is growing into a support tool for IPD. Factually PLM is a platform for the integration of IPDEs. In the implement process of PLM-based IPD in H cooperation, based on current PLM software, some key technologies such as the business modeling and process implement are illustrated in detail. Test and application research are carried on about the Integrated Product Development Environments(IPDE) and the application result is well-pleasing. Firstly, by analysis of IPD frame and some principle, the IPDEs structure is built up according to the IPD implement and PLM development of H cooperation. Furthermore, the IPD business implement process, some other key technology and the implement of IPDES are discussed too. Secondly, according to the PLM function requirement and business context of H cooperation, the function system of PLM is modeled with static structure model based on UML technology. The class graph model which contains property and identity is constructed according to the product information; and the business flow is described with mutual view and illustration model. Therefore, the integration, reconstruction and modeling of IPD become practical and canonical. And the design result of IPDEs is more re-useful than ever. Furthermore, based on workflow of PLM, some research work about IPD is taken out according to the flow business context of H cooperation including: life cycle management, workflow management based on lifecycle model, integration of life cycle and workflow, the project definition and role mapping and the implement of workflow form. Some application cases are presented to illustrate the implement of H-IPDEs. Finally, the conclusion is presented and some future work and problems are discussed.
