As the development of water conservancy and Hydropower Engineering technology, modern water conservancy developments quickly on scope and speed, high dams and great reservoirs emerge in endlessly, which brings about great economy and politics benefits and it is important to social development. Just their importance, dams become wartime targets and terror attack targets undoubtedly. This has already had lessons drawn from others' mistakes. The incident attacked in numerous dams has already taken place during the modern war, the routed dam brought to the other side damages enormously.Making a general survey of the pattern of developing of the world, it is lighter that the possibility of the global war happens, but the local war takes place occasionally. Besides routine weapon attack, terror attack or team plentiful detonator blast is a kind of threaten. As to our country, the political and economic environment of perimeter is very complicated, and domestic water conservancy construction is very thrifty, large quantities of high dam will be built up , so the research of defense of strengthening to the dam is great significant. This paper is about concrete gravity dam emulation analysis when it encountered explosion and regards LS-DYNA as the computational tool and adopts the numerical computing technology. Consider two kinds of attack forms mainly: First, the plentiful detonator blast on attacking; Second, conventional weapons namely cruising missile attacking. Consider both static loads and dynamic loads when numerical analyzing, analyze statics first before analyzing transient state dynamics and regard the results of statics one of the initial conditions of dynamics analysis. Analyse the follow main aspects through numerical computing: the regularities of explosive energy releasing, transmission and absorbing on different attack method; the regularities of dam typical particle shaking; the regularities of the formation and development of cavitation and the moving of hunch; the regularities of dam stress and strain and the dam damage, failure transformation etc. By dynamic emulation to the attack that the dam body suffers through numerical computing, including blast course and dam response, get some regularities which worth drawing lessons from and consulting to the design of dam defense. In addition the article points out this subject involves factors very widely, a lot of problems need studying further.
