Hydraulic drilling rig is a kind of underground construction equipment with high power , and the energy saving controls will directly affect the economics,life and reliability of the Hydraulic drilling rig .But the localization hydraulic drilling rig is lack of energy-saving technology; the energy-saving is very bad. Therefore the study of energy-saving control for hydraulic drilling rig is a urgent task ,which we can reduce heat generation of hydraulic system and fuel consumption, and improve the performance of power system. On the condition of this, I put forward a new technology of energy-saving control, and had been proved by academic analysis and test. This paper consists of following parts: 1. First of all, the application and development of the Hydraulic drilling rig is introduced. Then the significance and development of energy saving control of Hydraulic drilling rig in china and aboard are related, and then the development tendency is analysis and summarized in this paper. 2. On the basis of static constant equation,: Ew=â–³E_p+â–³E_k+â–³E_c+â–³E_s+â–³E_i+â–³E_h Analysis of all parts of energy damage, we conclude the energy-dissipative equation which aim at hydraulic drilling rig: So we can calculate the efficiency of hydraulic system : Through the typing loading chart, more we can get the energy-dissipative efficient accurately. The energy-dissipative equation indicates that: excessive flow and pressure are the essential cause of energy damages; the energy-saving control is how to make the excessive flow and pressure as little as it can be, so that we can get high efficiency for hydraulic system. For Hydraulic drilling rig, the control of power loser is overflow loser ,throttle loser and the power-load matching control of pump and diesel. 3. On the basis of the experimental of hydraulic drilling rigs, several energy saving controls with multifunction valve control are investigate in this paper, which include negative control, positive control and loading sensing control. Apart from these, the paper also proposes several bump controls, which include cut off control of pump that can prevent several kinds of relief loss of hydraulic system, cross sensing control of pump that can enlarge the variable working range. the application of these strategy, not only improve the efficiency of hydraulic system, but also the controllability of hydraulic drilling rigs. 4. On the basis of energy-dissipative equation, the type of NR220 all-hydraulic Hydraulic drilling rig is applied, resort to "Maple"tool, I have calculate the power of two pump system, we can get the concluded from the result: the cross power control system adapting the hydraulic drilling rig, further more avoiding engineer's overload. But to the two pump system, the pump's working point state at curve graph, whatever variable volume or constant volume they are, if the flow of required less than output, it will produce power loser. So, the cross power control system has its shortage in energy-saving control. 5. On the basis of type NR220 Hydraulic drilling rig, a energy-saving for Hydraulic system control called "positive load sense control "through added shuttle valves between main pump and main valve ,has been established, and proved by emulator, which going on the development of the engineer's efficiency, also get good energy-saving. So a new energy-saving for Hydraulic drilling rig called "compound energy-saving"compose of cross power control system plus positive load sense control system come into being.6. The power-load matching control of pump and diesel is also investigated in this paper, which called load limit control of diesel. Electronic load limit control put forward by Rexroth company was applied on the NR220 hydraulic drilling rig, get further improvement in energy saving and acclimation. 7. At last, contrast test between NR220 and NR2203 Hydraulic drilling rig has been made, test indicated: when all comes to all energy-saving control which included hydraulic system energy-saving and power-load matching control, get good effect of energy-saving, reduce power loser, also made fuel consume reduce above 25 percent, get a wonderful benefit of economic. The paper study the energy-saving control from the view of the engineering application, It has been proved by test that the combination of the energy saving methods that mentioned above, a satisfied result could be achieved. These methods can be realized on basis of most hydraulic system and diesel control system of Hydraulic drilling rig. The technology is urgent for the civil Hydraulic drilling rig. They will be valuable and significant for the development of Hydraulic drilling rig.
