The project described in this thesis is a part of the project of National Natural Science Foundation of China — "The Key Research of the Magnet System of Unconventional Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Devices". The thesis aims to design a measurement apparatus which measure precisely a 3-D magnetic field and its homogeneity arised by the magnetic body of the system and some other special magnet body.Magnetic field measurement technology is an important means in researching the magnetism and related physical phenomenon and gradually forms a branch of a special subject. In domains of science research, national defense, daily living etc, magnetic field measurement often plays an important role. Some factors such as measurement method, precision, and economy etc will directly effect the practicality and generalization of the apparatus.The magnetic measurement technology includes magnetic parameters measurement and magnetic property measurement of magnetic materials. Magnetic parameters measurement technology refers to magnetic field strength measurement and magnetic flux measurement. In general magnetic property measurement technology of magnetic materials refers to the testing of materials sample, which reflects magnetic parameters of the magnetic materials. At present, there are more equipments of magnetic property measurement than that of magnetic parameters measurement in China. Therefore it is significant to develop a magnetic field measurement apparatus with high precision and sensitivity, good stabilization easy handling, low cost and power consumption.The article accomplishes magnetic field measurement by combination 3D motion apparatus with magnetic measurement instrument in accordance to the characteristic of magnetic body, based on the magnetic field measurement instrument developed in many foreign and native factories and research departments. The project combines 3-D coordinate measuring system with measurement apparatus of magnetic field. Throughmotion control card, PC sends commands to control stepping motor. The sensors of magnetic measurement fixed on a staff is moved by a 3-D coordinate moving platform on staff. Grating liner scales detect the position of moving platform, so that it will accomplish precise localization and magnetic field measurement. The article compares the measuring value with calculating value required by using ANSOFT, which proves the magnetic field location and measurement apparatus have reached the demands.This apparatus makes measurement at some special magnetic field easily. The measurement probe can be replaced and maintained easily. The whole measurement apparatus are controlled easily and have higher precision and lower cost. At the same time, the instrument can be used in other field after it has a further extension.
