With the development of rail transit in modern cities, there are various power supply methods. For overhead catenary suspension, its parameter detection system is mature, but for contact rail power supply system which has great difference in characteristic with overhead catenary system, there is no comparable detection system to refer. To meet the need of rapid development of rail transit, it is impulsive to explore a system to detect relative technical parameters of conduct rail with auto-knowledge privilege.Based on the overhead catenary system's parameter detection system and according to the characteristics of conduct rail, the paper presents the overall schema of the system including hardware and software. In this system new type of photoelectric sensor, laser displacement sensor, laser radar sensor are adopted;in the hardware structure, the analogue data acquisition use V/F converter, which make the data transition by fiber more reliable and improve the anti-interference ability;fiber is adopted as transmission media between data acquisition and data process system which simplified the isolation measures between them. The bus protocol is CAN bus which improve the transition rate. In addition, some means have been taken to improve system's anti-interference ability, so that the system can work stably under the powerful electric and magnetic field. Data-processing and evaluation software evaluates the parameters and provide report both in data form and graph form ,by the virtue of expert system, to tell the user what the problem is and how to correct it.
