The dissertation is an analysis mainly on communication space of the building of Artistic Design School.As a fundamental form of contact between people, communication is quite common in our daily life which happens alongside with the existence of human beings anywhere.While in teaching process, communication is also an important and necessary approach and forms the basis for knowledge spread and study. Therefore, communication space is deemed a key point in architectural environment design.With the accelerating development of economy and peninfurthering of educational reform art education has been gaining increased attention and the time in which art education was considered a mere "ancillary" discipline is coming to an end. Artistic Design Schools are set up in colleges countrywide, the discipline are given much more attention and many academies set to construct their own art school buildings.As we all know, atistic design is an open field with its scope being enriched and extended continuously with the developing potential of art. As art education is not only education of skills which we traditionally take for granted, but also a systematic project to cultivate wisdom and creativity, it needs different teaching methods from other disciplines which focus more on excavating students' potentials. An artistic design student should not only master skill of artistic design, but also have interest in appreciation and perspicacity on evaluation of art. The aim of artistic design education is to develop students' all-round talentsincluding ability to express sensibility and exert creativity, discernment, intellect, expressive force and ability to solve practical problems, which can not be achieved by merely learning artistic design skills in classes. Therefore, it is necessary to afford students more communication opportunities to achieve better educational effect.
