With the incessant consummation of the socialist market system and fast developing of each industry, the demand of railage is continually increasing. By statistically, it is about 280,000 vehicles for daily demand, but it only about 100,000 loaded cars which are 1/3 to daily demand. It must enlarge the capacity and enhance the efficiency of wagon utilization to abate tense transportation. So it is important problem for railway industry to find kinds of ways to reduce the wagon turn-round time and speedup the turn-round wagon.In order to know the wagon operating status and tendency in our country, this paper dynamically analyses the key indexes which reflect the results of the serviceable wagon, for example the put-through time of wagon, detention time of wagon, wagon turn-round time, wagon static load, average daily out put of wagon, serviceable wagon and so on. Through the analysis, every index keeps steadily increasing except the wagon turn-round time. Owing to the wagon turn-round time is a all-around quality index and during the several years the accomplishment have got the distance to the best in history, so this paper studies this index in-depth. It use the matrix method to analyse the influence degree and direction by kinds of factors, and use the gray relational analysis to quantitative analyse primary and secondary of the factors, and gets the valuable conclusions.This paper uses the freight data of the Chengdu station to attest to the conclusion, and puts forward the ways and measures to increasing wagon turn-round time based the foregoing. It is to find the causes that delayed the put-through time of wagon and the detention time of wagon as the example of Guiyang south marshalling yard, and then give the responding countermeasure.
