In current super high-rise buildings, high strength concrete gets widely used To reduce the section size of members, steel reinforced high strength concrete should be used. Frame joint is the key part connecting beams with columns. The internal forces of beams and columns transfer through joints. The mechanical behaviors of steel reinforced high strength concrete fiame joints are very complex. Generally, a lot of experiments, in which labor and finance are necessary to establish the influence factors on the behavior of joints, must be carried out However, these problems can be solved easily by means of finite elements method for simulating the performance of the jointThis thesis mainly deals with the aspects as below:1. By compiling program of APDL parameters, ANSYS program is used to set up the finite element model. The ultimate capacity, deformation, distribution of stress and strain of the steels, cracking and crushing of the concrete, failure mechanism of frame joints is analyzed by simulating the behavior of actual steel reinforced high strength concrete frame joint The result of ANSYS finite element model is confirmed through contrasting with that of test2. For steel reinforced high strength concrete frame joints which the strength of concrete from C70 to C80, two different groups of constitutive relationships for ordinary concrete and high strength concrete are used in finite element simulation. Based on the two different groups of ANSYS finite element simulation, two different ultimate loads of beam end can be obtained, and two different values of shear capacity are hereby calculated. By contrasting the two different results, the factor of brittle property of high strength concrete influencing on the shear capacity can be calculated. A formula of shear capacity for steel reinforced high strength concrete frame joints is proposed based on .
