Ball tube mill is one of the most important auxiliary equipments in domestic power plants nowadays. Its safe and economic operation is the key of the first magnitude. However, most mills are still in the state of manual control. The reason is that mill governing system has multi-inputs and multi-outputs, strong coupling, tardiness, inertia and complicated dynamic character. It has some difficulty for the control of this system. Using three traditional PID controllers isolated, the satisfactory purpose is impossible and it can't run in the best situation.Intellective-control theory representative the EFC technology and also puts forward new question for control of ball mill. This paper combined control system of ball mill and the reality of overage grind, discussed the application of EFC in the automatic control of ball mill. Based on the ball mill overage grind and study actuality, this paper stress analyzed the dynamic characteristic of ball mill. And this paper put forward square delivery correspond EFC system. This paper presented collectivity scheme, software, hardware and realization scheme. EFC effectively resolved the entrance press of ball tube mill and temperature strong coupling of its export, This system can better control function of ball mill. This system has the superior characteristic of stabilization, credibility, save, tight structure simple operation.This study has higher practicality value and can provide the same products with use for reference.
