Abstract/Summary:
This thesis analyses domestic, outside the existing automobile road test technique. I deeply study the automobile road test equipment, the method of data collection and data analysis. In the need of Sichuan provincial key-subject development and based on the new test equipment, I researched and developed the software — "Automobile Road Test System Software Develop Based on GPS". This thesis includes the hardware setting and the software design. The hardware setting is to carry on initialization to the GPS system and make it attain very high accuracy;Notebook operates GPS receiver in software and obtains basic parameter from GPS receiver.The data come from GPS receiver, which made by NovAtel's Company. It is a durable, high-performance receiver with advanced capabilities and offers a wide variety of features for maximum versatility, including USB support and high-speed serial ports. The plus enclosures include support for an external inertial measurement unit and NovAtel's SPAN Technology for uninterrupted operation. Fiducial station GPS subsystem and move station GPS subsystem are established RTK difference orientation. They can attain centimeter-level position precision and provide vehicle to position data for Automobile road test System.According to the need of real-time measurement and the latest national standard, Automobile Road Test System Software is designed for the new system. The software sends and receives the on order and data by a RS-232. It supports high-speed and a great deal of data communication. The main function of thisprogram including creating data content, displaying real-time test data, plotting performance curves, obtaining data on curves whit cursor are analyzed in detail. Curves zoomed out, zoomed in and displayed repeatedly are analyzed as well.The system's software can carry on experiment item as follows: Motor vehicles-Maximum speed-Test, Motor vehicles-Minimum stable speed -Test, Motor vehicles-Coastdown-Test, Motor vehicles-Acceleration performance-Test, Road vehicle-Braking systems-Structure, performance and test. The new system raises real time, reliability and precision for road test.
