Based on the PWM plus phase-shift control (PPS Control) bidirectional DC/DC converter, the DSP controlled 5kW PPS bidirectional DC/DC Converter is designed.In chapter one, the application and background of bidirectional DC/DC converter is introduced. Some kinds of bidirectional DC/DC converter are introduced. The principle and typical topology of PPS control bidirectional DC/DC converter are introduced.In chapter two, the high power PPS bidirectional DC/DC converter topology is tested. The generations of the PWM plus phase-shift family is explained. Taken as an example of the family, the operation principles and analyses of one particular converter are illustrated, respectively. Based on the PPS bidirectional DC/DC converter switching loss model, the switching loss is compared with different switch and different input voltage. The result shows that the topology can be applied in the high power based on suitable switch and suitable input voltage.In chapter three, the control strategy is designed based on PPS bidirectional DC/DC converter principle and small signal dynamic model. Based on the transfer function, the close loop control mode is designed. In the close loop control, the PI compensated parameter is designed, the system is robust.In chapter four, the DSP control PPS bidirectional DC/DC converter prototype parameter is designed. The hardware design includes: the main circuit, the drive circuit parameter. The software flow chart is designed.
