Analyse Of Deformation And Forecast Of Settlement In Expressway Soft Roadbed

With the development of Chinese economy, many expressway were built on soft foundation recent years. How to make suitable foundation treating scheme and construction plan within a limited period is becoming an important subject. The most important two problems are settlement and stability of soft foundation.Much work was done recent decades about soft foundation settlement prediction method and much effective result was got, but there are still a lot of problems that make scientists puzzle because of complex characters of soil. Existing settlement prediction methods result in obvious difference between field data because its many assumptions are different from fact. Settlement prediction must be developed deeply again.The article have analysis of total settlement, compaction and lateral horizontal displacement of expressway foundation though collating the construction observation data and study on guideposts deeply in construction process.Almost all kinds of prediction method based on different theories are generalized in this paper. Artificial neural network method was researched deeply and compared with hyperbolic method which is broadly used in engineering practice. The merits and faults of neural network was pointed out and further modification was given. Practical test shows that this method has a high degree of accuracy, especially in very complex conditions. This method is very valuable to instruct construction.
