Deformed ellipsoid latticed shell is a new type of space structure with the development of bionics. Its outline is particular and new. Though carved up by general technique of latticed shell, it has different mechanical performance from the general spherical dome shell. Taking deformed ellipsoid latticed shell as the investigation object, we analyzed its surface wind force and static performance.Wind force is a very important force to the building, sometimes as a control force. Numerical wind tunnel technology based on computational fluid dynamics is an effective method for the study of the wind field. The theory of computational fluid dynamics and analyzing processor were introduced. In this paper, wind pressure distribution under the action of multi-angle wind load was simulated based on the standard k-ε and the Realizable k-ε turbulence model. The simulation of velocity boundary condition and turbulent intensity was realized. Wind pressure distribution rule was revealed and the result of two different turbulence models was compared. Wind pressure coefficient can be reached by formula and the analysis of wind field and further structural performance can be going on.Stability is particularly important to the deformed ellipsoid latticed shell. Non-linear FEM is used to study the geometrically non-linear buckling behavior of structure. Influence to the geometry nonlinear stability of structural span, section area, original disfigurement, load position and supporting condition was studied. Some valuable conclusions were summarized for the engineering design.Cooperating function of latticed shell and its supporting structure were studied. Then the affect to the supporting structure for the irregular shape of the shell was analyzed. Some issues were put forward for design.Finally, some conclusions were summarized and the problems that should be studied further are put forward.
