| Structure computation of sheet-pile wall is a major part in design of sheet pile bulkhead, which is a main form of quay. Moreover, the overall stability of structure depends on the accuracy of penetration depth and internal stress.Elastic line method and vertical elastic foundation beam method are mainly used in calculating the stress of sheet-pile wall structure, though they both have some disadvantages. This paper summarizes various theoretical computing methods of sheet-pile structure and introduces three types of calculating methods of lateral loading pile recommended in standard of harbor pile foundation of our country based on the interaction between pile and soil, which can better cover linear elastic subgrade reaction method, non-linear elastic subgrade reaction method and composite subgrade reaction method, including m method, NL method and p-y curve. Calculation of penetration depth and stress of sheet-pile as well as comparison between them and some favorable conclusions are also generated in this paper by corresponding computing program.The feature and applicability of the three methods, which could be referenced for engineering, are given at last through examples of projects. |
