Based on the project of Xinghai Bay Pedestrian Overpass,the calculation method of configuration of main cable of inclined hanger self-anchored cable suspension bridge was studied,and the mechanical performance of steel truss inclined tower was analyzed.lt consists of four parts:(l)Firstly,servaral influence factors on self-anchored cable suspension bridge was analyzed.Secondly,traditional calculation theory on configuration of main cable of cable suspension bridge was introduced such as parabola theory,segmental catenary curve method,segmental parabola method and segmental line method.At last,two calculation theories on the stability of bridge was put forth.(2)In view of the shortcoming of current analytical calculation method in solving inclined hanger cable suspension bridge,improved segmental catenary curve was put forward and nonlinear formulation group to fix on configuration of main cable of inclined hanger cable suspension bridge was deducd.Further more,a more efficient and simple FEM calculation method was obtained through establishing parameter calculation model and dynamic forecast.(3)Project control of main cable initial status of Xinghai Bay Pedestrian Overpass was studied in combination analytical method with nonlinear FEM. It stressed on confirmation of the hanger force of circular curve camber main beam self-anchored cable suspension bridge and the control point coordinates of configuration of main cable through genetic arithmetic.(4)The design scheme of main tower of Xinghai Bay Pedestrian Overpass was compared,And computer simulation on the hanging of main tower was made.Finally,eigenvalue buckling analysis and stability calculation taking geometry nonlinear and material nonlinear into account was carried through.Stability coefficient of Xinghai Bay Pedestrian Overpass under different load cases was obtained.
