Once through big helical tube steam generator is widely used in nuclearpower plant, power equipment, chemical industry and petroleum engineeringequipment. This paper analyzes the physical process of the two-phase flow inhelical tube and constructs the thermal hydraulic computational model foronce through big helical tube steam generator. The drift-flux model is used,and by using heat transfer and pressure drop calculation formula aimed at bighelical tube, importing De number, asymmetry coefficient of two phase flowand critical Re number, integrated computational model was found. Thiscomputational model can be used for helical tube with different ratio ofhelical diameter to tube diameter, and can provide basis for development anddesign of helical tube.This paper applies the thermal-technical computational model andimplements it to big helical tube. Thermal hydraulic characteristic of steamgenerator in thermal balance state and distributing of fluid's thermal-technicalparameter alone the tube was got by algebra iterative calculation. And bycompare with other computation, the results were checked.To compile an assistant code which can calculate configuration parameterof the steam generator is the third part of the paper. The input parameter can bechosen with different combination and the results can be checked bythermal-technical calculation. This paper also brings forward the generatordesign platform for the helical tube steam generator, by using thermal-technicalanalysis platform and calling of analysis modules, thermal-technical calculationfor different type of steam generators can be realized.
