| With the development of the national economy , and the increasing of electric powerconsumption, it is an inevitable trend of the power transmission of the ultra long-range andultra capacity . The UHVDC is just one of the more economical and efficient modes.Commutation failure is one of the most common failures for the high voltage direct current(HVDC) transmission system . The reasons of commutation failure mainly rely on thereduce of commutation bus voltage , direct current uprush and commutating voltagezero-cross phase shift and short circuit of inverter. Based on the CIGRE HVDC benchmark,the UHVDC simulation model was set up in this paper with MATLAB-Simulink software.The characteristics in various of faults of single-phase grounding short circuit , phase tophase short circuit, three-phase grounding short circuit and inverter bridge short circuitin AC/DC system and the analysis on the affects on commutation failure are obtained. |
