In recent years, a series of large-scale blackout that resulted by cascading failurehappened in some countries. It attracts world's attention on security and defense of powersystem. A power grid frame in reason is the basic of power system's safe and stable operation.First, analyzed each network frame's characteristic in order to providing suggestion for powersystem optimization and decision-making;then, used regradation step by step method tooptimize lines in choice;finally used enhanced Ant Colony algorithm to conform the ultimatepower grid frame. The merit of the algorithm is that it converted overloading into objectivefunction as an economic target in N-1 failure analysis, which balanced economy andreliability in power grid optimization. At the end of this paper, the optimization of 2010Gansu 330kV power grid was testified.
