The power system fault diagnosis is researched in this paper, the detail work is as follows:Firstly, introduce the purpose and content of the electric power system fault diagnosis,developments of power system fault diagnostic methods and research advantages andlimitations of methods in the study of electric power system fault diagnosis.Secondly, the power system fault diagnosis analytic model which use both protect andswitch action information is proposed in this paper, it can be described as 0-1 integerprogramming with nonrestraint, reshut break is introused in the analytic model and introducethe contribution factor to the protect, this model solve the fault diagnosis problem in which theprotect information is lack in a certain extent, and present the experienced formular which isused to decide all kinds of protect contribution factor.Nextly, develop a fault diagnosis data collecting system which solved real-time dataacquisition in the power system fault diagnosis, the data message is analysed in detail andextract the data required in fault diagnosis, this system can not only collect data but alsotransmit the data information to attemper and provide a necessary condition for electric powersystem fault diagnosis On-line.Lastly, the applications is done in the power system fault diagnosis through the actualexample using the improved power system analysis model. Research the automatic formationmethod of object function on-line diagnostic process and fault region identify ways. Obtain theoptimized solution using genetic algorithm in a simulation process, solve the problem the powerfault diagnosis process data Incompleteness and the accurate identification of fault componentsThe method proposed in this paper is used in the eastern oil storeroom transformer substation ofthe first oil extraction plant of Daqing, the result is reasonable and right, and satisfy thepractical fieldwork application instance.
