Railway Area Scheduling Communication System is special communicationequipment used to service contact between Train Scheduler (TS) and StationWatchers in the area of which the TS take the responsibility. It's an important meansthat provides real time information to railway transportation and realizes thescheduling of railway transportation. Therefore, the communication of schedulingplays a very important role in railway transportation .Along with the progress ofhigh-speed of the railway speeding increasingly ,it makes a great sense to developsuch a Scheduling Communication System that fits the future of the operation ofrailway in China and that possesses characteristics of digital , integration ,flexiblenetworking ,and so on.Based on the technologies such as Digital Program Control Switch, TDMA,Optical Transmission and Computer Control, this project studied the wholearchitecture of Railway Digital Scheduling System, established the networkingmethod of the Scheduling System, designed the Digital-Relay Interface and analyzedthe reliability of the system.1. Analyzed the customer requirements of Railway Scheduling System, studiedthe whole architecture and analyzed the characteristic of the system constituted andthe functions of each module.2. Studied the transmission technology of Optical Access Network andself-healing technology of the network, analyzed the influence that transmissionequipment, Service category and other factors imposed on the networking method ofthe communication in the railway scheduling.3. According to the commands of frame architecture and frame synchronizationin the TDMA system, made the design of software and hardware for Digital-RelayInterface, realized the procedure of multiplexing and demultiplexing for the voicedata and control data, processed the signaling , achieved the functions of detectionand alarming for synchronization and error.4. Analyzed the reliability of the system based on the unavailability ofscheduling system and the blocking rate of switching network and the protectioncapability of digital relay.5. Presented an application example of the digital scheduling system, validatedthe practicability of the design.
