In recent years, the research and application in the industry of solar spectrallyselective absorbing coatings for medium & high-temperature applications(hereinafter briefly called ACMHA)have been given more and more attention. Thisthesis summarized their basic types, absorption mechanisms and preparation methodsand introduced the research work and new results of many scientific groups at homeand abroad. Furthermore, this thesis discussed the advantages and disadvantages ofpreparation methods for ACMHA as well as its development direction. We have prepared CuO and PbS selectively absorbing coatings by adoptingthe aque-chemical method with the base material of brass(or copper ), studied theoptimal preparation condition, and discussed primarily the effects the related factorshave on the coatings. The major performance of the samples has been characterizedby adopting temperature test, corrosion endurance test, abrasion resistance test, etc,and the results shows that the samples have basicly reached our criterion. The creativity of the thesis lies in : (1) the oxidant of NaClO was fistly usedto prepare CuO selectively absorbing coating, and the preparation process was easy tohandle and without pollution;(2) not like the method of plating PbS on thenickle-plated brass(or copper) in the conventional literature, we plated PbS directly onthe pre-treated brass(or copper), furthermore, we tried to paint TiO2 on the PbScoating to prolong the coating life.
