| Damage detection and diagnosis of structure is a newer subject. The hidden trouble of structure can be detected in time, and accident can be avoided by the damage detection and diagnosis. But, presently the research on damage detection and diagnosis of structure focus on bridge and tier building, and the research on large space structures are few. Because the characteristic of large space structures is very special, the orthodox methods of damage detection and diagnosis on structure aren't applicable to large space structure directly, and there are a lot of problems which aren't solved. So there is important theoretic and practical significance about the research on damage detection and diagnosis of large space structure.In this paper, the problem about sensor optimization placement in the research on damage detection and diagnosis of large space structures is solved by Effective Independence. The parameters which are applicable to the damage orientation are selected by analysis and intercomparsion, and applied in the research on numerical example. A three-step method, based on the characteristic of large space structures, using the merit of some methods of damage orientation, combining mode curvature and neural network, which solves the problem of overabundance training database in neural network, is put forward. Finally, a finite element model to TanJin Olympic Stadium is founded and damage is simulated, and the research on damage orientation is carried on using the method forenamed. It is proved that the method mentioned above is quite feasible and can identify the place of damage accurately. |
