Attenuation Of Environmental Vibration With Depth

Attenuation of environmental vibration with depth is discussed in this article.There are lots of wave types in layered foundation. Wave power is different on different location, but Rayleigh wave power is dominant on layered foundation surface , meanwhile, the attenuation of Rayleigh wave is lower than other wave types. So the attenuation of Rayleigh wave with depth is deserved studying.This paper is put forward on Rayleigh wave dispersion and attenuation characteristics in layered foundations.Main contents as follow:(1) The relative program was programmed on the platform of Matlab according to the analytical method and finite element-analytical method. Computing and analyzing common foundations, then plotting dispersion curves.(2) Program on Rayleigh wave attenuation of layered foundation was programmed. Discussing the regulations on attenuation and getting some useful conclusion.(3) Displacement and time curve in layered foundation is got from displacement and time curve recording in the locale on the platform of Matlab according to Fourier transform and the characteristic of Rayleigh Waves Attenuation is got. In end of the article strongpoints of this method is summed up.
