Electrorheological Technology has a abroad potential foreground,now the organizations which study on it become more and more extended.It is clear by research that one of the most important external factors of good Electrorheological effect is lying on the HV power supply for detecting and controlling the change of electrorheological material,so develop the HV power supply is becoming more and more important.On account of the special request to the HV power supply in the ER technology, based on deeply study on switching power supplying, especially on resonant converter principle,adopt the serial-parral resonant circuit topology with a capacitive output filter to achieve the soft switching.and use the advanced performance singlechip which have the DSP function to act as the control core, and use the numerical control method instead of analog control method ,combining with the advanced control method,discuss the numerical technology for switching power . This dissertation reviewed firstly the recent status and development of the HV power supply which use in Electrorheological technology in the world ,and then analyzed the problem existing in the development of the HV power supply.The design part of the HV power supply included rectifier and filter,power stage topology,short circuit protection,parameter selecting and control circuit design etc.Based on the stuations of lack of theory analysis to serial-parral resonant cucirt with a capacitive output filter, on the basis of RC load model the component parameters were brought out ,and then the simulation results obtained by Saber software, compare the caculated numerical value with the results of the computer simulation,excellent agreement has been obtained,this way overcome the blindness of design and debug of the HV power supply .on the other hand,select dsPIC30F series advanced singlechip as the control core from the performance and price ,predigest the control circuit.discuss the Fuzzy-PID control method which applying in the switching power,exert the advantage of the Fuzzy control and PID control,make up the disadvantages of each other.this integration control strategy offer a new DC/DC approach for us. At last ,on the basis of the theory analysis and simulation,a high voltage power supply has been designed and completed ,and a test-bed which for Electrorheological Vavles has been built,the experiment result also prove that the designed parameters are appropriate,all parts of the electrocircuit are operate normally,the high voltage can be modulated in a widely range with the computer singal and posses a good short circuit protection characteristic,the load characteristic is also well,can operate in nearly empty load and full load,the operational characteristic of this power supply were proved by experiments to be fully agreed with the designing targets.In order to test the performance of the HV power supply and display the press of ER fluids,A visual program has been built by Visual Basic software,consequently actualize the function of modulating power voltage by computer signal,and achieving the intelligient control of HV voltage.As a whole,the power supply which designed meet the need of the automation of ER technology .
