A dynamic model of the rub-impact rotor-Jeffcott rotor model is presentedin this thesis. The dynamic differential equation of the single-disk rub-impactrotor system is established. Combining with some nonlinear analysis methods,the various motion shapes of the rotor are analyzed and the nonlinear response ofthe rotor is observed under various parameter. The fourth-order Runge-Kuttamethod is used in numeric simulation. Combining with bifurcation, motionwaveform, orbit's map and poincare's map, the various motion shapes of the rotorare analyzed. Then the nonlinear response of the rotor is observed under variousparameters, such as rotating speed, misalignment, damping coefficient, stiffnessof stator and rubbing coefficient. The efforts on the rub-impact rotor of theseparameters are analyzed by bifurcation diagram.Lastly the calculation resultsare validated with experiment based on Jefcott rotor model, and reliable basis isprovided for recognizing the rub-impact more correctly.
