At present, most analysis to low-frequency oscillation is off-line, which leads thatcalculating is hard and can't meet with the need of safety and stability running inwide-joint-net period. In this paper, on the basis of analysis of low-frequency oscillation'sprinciple , the model of power system for low-frequency oscillation to be used in the paperhas been built and additional equivalent damping coefficient of excitation system and powersystem stabilizer (PSS) is educed. Then calculate the imaginary part of eigenvalues accordingto the model and derive the real part formula, thus the initial eigenvalues are worked out.Then inverse power method is applied to calculate all the accurate electromechanicaleigenvalues rapidly. In the end, the program software of on-line early-warning system isworked out on the basis of the fast method, What's more, A New England 10 machines systemis employed to validate that the algorithm is fast and the system is feasible.
