With the development of the modern industry, the problem of vibration is more prominent, so it is an important task of researching vibration control to effectively decrease vibrational harm. The Lead-Disc Springs Isolator(LDSI) is presented in this paper on the backgrounds of the problem of vibration control in some explode lab, which is composed of Disc-Springs isolator and Lead damper through parallel connection. Firstly, the structural components of LDSI are discussed in detail. The method of design, calculate formula of stiffness and bearing capacity, checking computations method of ultimate distortion are presented in this paper, which set up theory foundation for design computation and tests research of LDSI. Secondly, the models of LDSI and DSI(Disc-Springs Isolator) are designed in order to research the performances of LDSI. Their static and dynamic performances are studied through whole-sole tests. Vary regularity of each characteristic parameter with changes of frequency, ample and pre-pressing are investigated. Performances of LDSI and DSI are compared. Integrate performances of LDSI are evaluated. At the same time, design method of LDSI presented in this paper is testified. Thirdly, the common restoring force models of an isolator are summarized. Numerical study and comparing analysis are deduced through tested curves of several typical restoring force models. Finally, the combined LDSI is used to triumphantly solve the problem of vibration control in some lab, which validate the validity of LDSI.
