With the increasing impact of human activity the river runoff of the north river have taken on a trend of the obvious decrease .however the river runoff in south humid area is more abundant correspondingly ,in spite of the increasing human activity ,as a whole the change of the river runoff is not very notable ,so there are a little research on the effect that the human activity brought to the river runoff in south area .especially in Guangdong Province where precipitation is very abundant ,the research is hardly vacant .With the increasing extent of human activity the situation of the water resources in Guangdong Province has changed to some extent, such as t more and more extrusive contradiction of water supply-demand ,the pollution of water environment .especially the severe shortage of water in the down-reach river during the low water season .so the situation of water resources is noticeable in every walk of life .On the basis of collecting correlative data and referring to the correlative fruit this thesis evaluates the water resources in Guangdong Province roundly and objectively and makes a first research on the evolution of water resources in Guangdong Province.According to the long series of precipitation and runoff data of the main river in Guangdong Province ,this thesis analyzed the effect that precipitation .evaporation and human activity has brought to the evolution rules of the surround runoff in Guangdong Province .This thesis makes an emphasis on the variation trend of the quantity and quality of water resources due to human activity in Guangdong Province since the recent twenty years . Adopting the qualitative and quantitative methods ,this thesis analyzes the rules and characteristic that nature condition (precipitation) and human activity have lead to the evolution of water resources .which makes us to gain a further and detailed grasp on the evolution of water resources in Guangdong Province .understand the water resources rationally and analyze the present problems, so as to take corresponding strategy and measure .The thesis applies the statistical methods ,such as the moving average ,the power spectral analysis .wavelet analysis .and maximum entropy, to analyze the variation trend and the plentiful & dry cycle characteristic of precipitation and runoff .which reflects thegeneral inter-annual change rule of the precipitation and runoff in Guangdong Province .
