With the development of the foreign trade and the request of the environmental improvement,as the representation of the recycled environmental packaging, molded pulp grew up quickly in ourcountry. Since 1982, the equipment has been imported, and then was made by some factories in ourcountry. Now the products have been used in the package of dishware, farm produce and all kindsof instruments. Because the growth of the industry was not steady-going, and the equipment andtechnology depended on importation in initial stages, the development of theory about molded pulplagged far behind the production. And the status will limit the development of the industry in thefuture. It is most urgent that the consummation is to evolve the model which fit the request ofproducts and machines in our country. Because the demands of molded pulp products mainly focus on the thin walled transfer moldedproducts, the way of shape process is mainly vacuum filtering shape process which is only one ofthe various ways. The mould is one of the important factors in the vacuum filtering shape process.At present, the theory of vacuum filtering shape process assumes the factor to be a constant, whichcan be used to neither judge the affect of the mould nor predict the improvement of the mould. The theory of vacuum filtering shape process and the mould are analyzed in the text, whichformed a systemic theory framework. Based on the theory of vacuum filtering shape process mouldin existence, in the research the hydrodynamics and the theory of reducing resistance etc wereapplied to establish a model of vacuum filtering shape process mould, and the ANSYS was used tovalidate it. The model is also used to analyze the connection between the structure of vacuumfiltering shape process mould and the efficiency of vacuum filtering shape process and to analyzethe quality of the shape. The improved mould based on the theory was used in the product, and theeffect is good. The model perfected the molded pulp theory nowadays, and it will be useful to theimprovement of the mould. The research will be a reference to the molded pulp production to someextent. The conclusions and the results in the text will be useful to the design and the improvementof the mould.
