The paper firstly design a set of equipment for Liquefied Petroleum Gas using in offering gas and measuring in terms of type of experiment machine.Using the equipment can cause that mixture combustion experiment can be done without modifying diesel engine. Then, the paper analyse over-air coefficient variation law of diesel engine after the mixture combustion of Liquefied Petroleum Gas. Based on contrast experiment, the paper applies the model of mathematics to calculating the heat release rate of engine using Liquefied Petroleum Gas, and then demonstrate the performance of engine using Liquefied Petroleum Gas and its combustion characteristic, analyse how the combustion characteristic influence the performance of diesel engine by analyzing load characteristic, indicator chart, and the heat release law. The paper at last present ways of improving the performance for engine using Liquefied Petroleum Gas.
