The finite element analysis of the adjacent rock stability during the hydroelectric power stations' underground excavation constructed, is an important numerical simulated method. Deep Study on the adjacent rock stress changing rules in the underground excavation construction, is not only the criterion of the adjacent rock stability, but also the base of the reinforcement of the adjacent rock. In this paper, taking Xiaogushan power station underground excavation as an object, the stress deformation of adjacent rock is analyzed, and stress released is simulated in construction, using the three-dimensional nonlinear finite element method. The specific work includes:(1) At the first, the finite element inversion analysis method of the initial crustal stress field and the measuring method of hydrofracturing crustal stress were expounded.(2) The elementary theory of rock elasto-plastic finite element method was elaborated. The constitutive relation of numerical analysis of domestic power plants' underground excavation was analyzed statistically. And on which basis, the author chose an appropriate constitutive relation for Xiaogushan project.(3) Integrated the Xiaogushan project, it built underground excavations finite model, calculated the stress, strain and the distribution of tensile splitting destruction in every stages of the excavation of the underground excavation, carried out the stability analysis of underground excavation and appraised the stability of underground excavations.
