Research On Virtual Prototype And Simulation System For Interfacing Apparatus Of DSRV

Combining with the 10^th Five-Year national defence priority in advance research project "the research on intellectual interfacing apparatus of DSRV" task, the development of deep submergence rescue and underwater interfacing technique, and the total designed project of interfacing apparatus of DSRV produced by our university are researched. The research on virtual prototype for interfacing apparatus of DSRV has efficient means to improve apparatus quality, shorten research cycle and cut down expenses. The virtual prototype for interfacing apparatus of DSRV has been built and the interfacing process has been done in this paper.It is necessary to build the underwater interfacing virtual simulation system for the development and research of the interfacing apparatus. The virtual prototype constructed in this paper is a most important portion of the whole simulation system. It displays the movement process of manipulators on the apparatus directly, thus it brings convenience to analyze the interfacing process and do more research for people.As for the underwater virtual simulation system, the models including DSRV, disable submarine and terrain have been set up using the standard model software 3D Studio Max. By using the software of VIEW3DS the model data has been transformed. On the VC++6.0 station, by using OpenGL, the control of movement of manipulators on the interfacing apparatus of DSRV has been realized and the process of interfacing has been done. The interaction between the user and the visual system has been achieved through the simple GUI. Thus this paper made a foundation for the virtual simulation system.
