| In recent years, the auto industry has expanded swiftly. On the other side, the reducing petroleum resources and the aggravating environment pollution enforce people to find the alternative cleanly resources. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), as an alternative engine fuel, can alleviate this conflict effectively. After analyzing the characteristics of LPG, this paper provided an electronic control LPG supply system to fulfill the function of dual fuel on the diesel engine. The P80C552 single-chip microprocessor was used as the kernel of electronic control unit (ECU). The high-speed digital solenoid valve was used as the actuator. The idea of modularization was used to compile the control arithmetic, which makes the software has a stronger independency, easy to standardize, to read, to maintain and to modify. This system was matched with the LR6105Q diesel engine. The comparison of emissions performance between original engine and the LPG/diesel dual fuel engine were made. The results show that the system has a higher safety and reliability. Using the mathematical model established, the heat release rate of dual fuel engine is calculated, which can be used to quantitatively analyze the effects of load, speed, replace ratio and advanced angle of fuel injection on the emissions and combustion characteristics. At last, the problems need to be solved were given, and the ways to solve the problems were discussed. Further more, the direction of the engine electronic control developing and the methods to improve the engine performance were prospected. |
