As an important part of electric power system stabilization, voltage stabilization and its content aggrandize the connotation of power system stabilization. Based on the harvest of other people, this paper introduces singular value decomposition method and applies it to Sichuan power grid.Firstly, the author introduces the history and actuality of voltage stability, also particularly introduce the analysis method.Mathematics theory of singular value decomposition method is introduced in the second chapter . In order to apply singular value decomposition method to power system static stabilization, we transform the power system static stabilization problem to the study of the sure Jacobin matrix and singular degree of the Jacobin matrix. This paper also proposes the singular value decomposition calculation method, furthermore present some important parameter index in detail.Singular value decomposition method is used to Sichuan power grid in the next chapter, the continue power flow is combined to the arithmetic, so the least singular value and the vector corresponding to the least singular value are calculated. Through analyzing parameter, we got the information of the steady-state voltage stability margin and the weakness nodes, also find then most sensitive control direction.Some capacitors are added to weakness area based on the conclusions of last chapter. Then the single value and the vector corresponding to it are calculated again. We not only proved the conclusion, but also find the voltage static stabilization in the new status.
