As a result of the development of prolificacy and progress of civilization, it made the buildings near the airport, railroad, highway and industrial factory immersed in the ocean of bored noise which was mainly made by city traffics, daily life and industrial factories. These buildings should be designed especially to lesson the noise incoming, to improve the ability of surrounding constructions to insulate sound transmission. It's shown by former researches that the noise mainly transferred into the rooms through window and doors, which are comparatively thin and weak to the wall. Based on these, this thesis optimizes the sound-proof ability of window.Firstly, this thesis sets up the model of transmission loss of the double-proof window. Based on the analysis of sound incidence and fluid-structure Coupled condition, a mathematic model of double-proof window is established, and this model involves the design parameters.Secondly, this thesis introduces the theory and method of optimization design. Based on the former model of transmission loss, an objective function is achieved, with the different restraint conditions; a model of optimization design is established. A method of SQP is adopted to solve the problem, which is described with Flowchart and Matlab.Lastly, this thesis compares the analysis results of different conditions, draws a conclusion of the parameters of the window which effect of sound transmission loss, deduces the structure parameters to be equal at the single frequency, but different at the broad frequencies, and not much change at the variety of incidence angle.
