Intelligent transportation system should be the perfect combination of intelligent vehicle, intelligent road and intelligent traffic management. The intelligent digital panel will be the important part of future vehicles. The intelligent digital panel is adopted more advanced electronic display system instead of analog display panel at present. The text pulls out a new-style intelligent digital panel form some factors, for example technical feasibility, economical efficiency, comfortable degree and enlarged function rationality. On the basis of seriously analyzed this sort of study on home and abroad, as a whole, the text expatiates any virtue and accepts them, but some panels have half-baked function and show content which isn't clear at a glance. Because of these problems, the theme decides study direction as follows: high performance SCM(singlechip) and touch screen instead of intrinsic mimic panel, showing all car's running parameters and curves, simultaneously giving a voice and light alarm about fault, embedded black box logged data cover all the aspect, if traffic accident happened, which could show what happened again. The text has two parts including design of hardware and software system. Hard-ware design: how to select SCM, touch screen, sensor, of which controller's core (embedded microprocessor) is adopted Intel Xscale structure, manostat of dynamo and accumulator is adopted Linear Corp's LT1086 voltagestabilizing chip, data acquisition system is adopted A/D converter which is TI Corp's TLV0838 with 8 bits sampling precision and National Corp's ADC78H90 with 12 bits sampling precision, using filter technique, decoupling circuit, shield technique etc to improve electrical signal anti-jamming capability. The text introduces software system to start with embedded operating system—Windows CE development function requirement, selected eMbedded Visual C++ as development tool.
