With the development of medical technologies, endoscopes such as gastroscope, bronchoscope have become widely used in clinical practice. The cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes are usually done by manual labor, Which may lead to contact-infection and across-infection. Although the probability of infection is very little, the effective enhancement of cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes is necessary. It is helpful not only to the prevention and control of infection in hospital but also to health of clinical operator.In this paper, works we have done are based on the current developments both overseas and domestic, which mainly include:1. Expatiated the disinfection theories of disinfectants and the cleaning and disinfection theories of ultrasonic, and put forward the principles of choosing the disinfectants which are suitable to endoscopes.2. Designed and developed an auto ultrasonic and EOW cleaning and sterilizing sample machine.3. The frequency of the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaning basin and the uniformity of sound field in the ultrasonic cleaning basin are studied on theories and experiments, and under the operating system windows2000 we simulated the distribution of standing wave in the ultrasonic cleaning basin utilizing software Matlab6.5.4. Study on synergetic germicidal effect of ultrasonic and EOW, and validated the effects of cleaning and disinfection of the system.5. we can conclude from the results of experiments that EOW with the cooperation of ultrasonic can reach perfect effects of cleaning and disinfection.
