| While urbanism process accelerates continuously, unification of towns turns the trend to further enhance, the center city of part of big cities is increasingly close with the contact of its outer circle. Being used as passageway of its contact in the traffic and transportation field and even the located position in economic and social development is gradually important.The disposition system of the passageway is researched on the foundation of the demand plan of the passageway and route function location in passageway, combining the actual circumstance of Chengdu proceeded the application .The main content is as follows:(l)In chapter 1, an introduction part, proceeds the analysis to the theoretical research in latest passageway present condition in details, expatiates the importance and necessity of passageway research in downtown external road net.(2) In chapter 2, it is defined all of transportation passageway and gave the construction appearance and the definition of passageway in downtown external road net.(3) In chapter 3, the demand plan of passageway .In defining a foundation of small area in transportation, it gives the passageway transportation gross measures to predict the process and the transportation assign methods of each path inside passageway ; redefining the traffic ability of path, giving the calculation method for the traffic ability of passageway. Making use of the system theory and the thought of decision, we can get the demand plan of the passageway.(4) In chapter 4, the function analysis of passageway .
