The research and exploiture of high-power AC drive needs to test the inverter and induction motor.A new reciprocal power-fed test system of induction motor is studied in this thesis.What is called the experimental system is adopts an analogue load on the shaft of the motor under test. Already existed experimental systems are analyzed firstly,they consist of energy-wasted experimental system and energy-recycle experimental system,It is insufficient to test high-power induction motor with these already existed systems.In order to meet the need to test induction traction motor,A new test system,namely twin inverter-motor reciprocal power-fed test rig is discussed in this thesis.The process of energy flowing and the principle of saving energy are analyzed,A control method that is frequency difference control is derived.Applied the simulation software Matlab/Simulink,first the motor's model is composed,then the model of experimental system is formed.The result of emulation prove fully the feasibility and superiority of the test system.the control theory of the test system is frequency difference control.Open-loop constant V/Hz control and closed-loop control (indirect vector control) are discussed in this thesis.At last,the hardware and software based on DSP is simply designed. The frame of hardware and the flow chart of software are presented.
